Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Hill summit with natural outcrops and talus. Rocks consist of granitized orthogneisses up to metagranites. They represent old intrusives in paragneisses and migmatites of the Monotonous Group of the Bohemian Moldanubicum.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moldanubicum - Metamorphic units in Moldanubicum
Stratigraphy: proterozoikum
